The West Central Association Welcomes Four New Board Members

There are now 43 members on the West Central Association (WCA) Board of Directors.

On Thursday, February 21, 2019 the WCA welcomed four new directors during its board meeting and luncheon: Erin Lavin Cabonargi of Hibernian Advisors, Andy Eltzroth of Multiple Inc., Charlie Moriarty of The Feil Organization and Cindi Webber of Sound Investment AV.

The WCA is the west central area’s chamber of commerce. The west central area encompasses communities such as the West Loop, Fulton Market, University Village and Madison Row.

With more than 100 years of focused economic and community development under its belt, the WCA is dedicated to encouraging a healthy business environment. It is a delegate agency for the Department of Planning and Development and is the sole service provider for the Greektown SSA #16.

The board also expanded its leadership roles last Thursday. WCA Board President Armando Chacon added three new vice presidents: fourth Vice President Timothy Swanson of Skender Design, fifth Vice President Clint Paton of The Revel Group and sixth Vice President Meg Sahs of Monteverde Restaurant & Pastificio.

Renewed board directors include Max Bechina, Kira Novak, Larry Adelson, Jose Bedolla, Richard Bridgford, Thomas Broderick, Michelle Carrera, Thomas Comforte, Charles Grode, Harry Huzenis, Joey Panfil, Stephen Ross, Michael Semenzin, John Sochacz, Timothy Swanson and Gino Tabbi.

All nominations of new and renewed directors passed unanimously.

Meet Our Newest Directors


Erin Lavin Cabonargi—the former director of development services at Sterling Bay and executive director of the Public Building Commission of Chicago—has a diverse background in commercial real estate development, public infrastructure development as well as facility management. Lavin Cabonargi currently serves as the managing director of Hibernian Advisors, a strategic advisory practice focused on commercial real estate, infrastructure and government affairs.

Andy Eltzroth brings creative and corporate communication leadership and experience to the WCA board of directors. Andy is principal and director of business development at Multiple, Inc., a strategic design firm based in Chicago, Atlanta and Vancouver.  Multiple Inc. helps their clients drive intentional change by designing and advancing brands, services and products.




Cindi Webber, the director of business development for Sound Investment AV, has spent most of her event industry years in the West Loop area.  The former catering sales executive for Blue Plate Catering, Jewell Events Catering and Limelight Catering, Webber made the change to work with one of her valued production vendors, Sound Investment AV,  to focus on business development. The WCA looks forward to working with Webber who is an active volunteer in the community as well as the event industry.


Charlie Moriarty—the general manager of The Feil Organization’s Midwest portfolio—brings a broad range of real estate expertise to the WCA board of directors. From acquisitions and dispositions to leasing and property management, Moriarty has 20 years of diverse experience with downtown commercial developers. Moriarty also works as an educator. He has authored commercial leasing and property management classes, and teaches those classes for the Chicago Association of Realtors.
