How long have you been in the neighborhood?

We broke ground on our corporate headquarters at the intersection of Adams/Morgan in May 1991, and we officially moved in a few years later.

Why the West Loop?

The Walsh family wanted to maintain their Chicago roots, and they saw beyond the boarded-up businesses and stagnant warehouses of the neighborhood in the late 80s/early 90s. The Walsh family had a long-term vision for the neighborhood and the company.

What are your top challenges in growing your business?

Always being proactive and staying ahead of the trends, not reacting to them.

Why did you join the West Central?

As a long-time West Loop resident,  it’s important to be connected to our neighbors, and we have great respect for the WCA mission.

What makes The Walsh Group unique?

What’s your favorite part of the West Loop?

Every part of the West Loop offers something great from the parks to restaurants to hotels and mixed-use, every block caters to visitors and residents in a unique way.

We expect continued growth, all while employing the brightest minds, building quality environments safely, and giving back to the communities where we work and live.
