Who are you?

The CryoBar is Chicago’s premier cryotherapy spa specializing in cryotherapy treatments. Cryotherapy is the body’s exposure to subzero temps used to promote a natural anti-inflammatory response, reduce pain and spasms, accelerate collagen production and athletic recovery, increase metabolism and endorphins, and promote overall health. Cryotherapy is not a medical procedure but a non-invasive alternative for individuals seeking a faster recovery and improved overall health. Services include whole body cryotherapy, cryo-toning facials, localized cryotherapy, cryoskin 3.0 (body sculpting and toning), compression therapy, celluma light therapy and infrared sauna treatments.

How long have you been in the neighborhood?

 The CryoBar West Loop just opened at the beginning of May! We have been in Lincoln Park for 3 years and Bucktown/Wicker Park for a year.

Why the West Loop?

We love the neighborhood and all of the people we have met. We constantly had clients at our other locations asking us to come to the West Loop. [The] West Loop was where we wanted to be, and we are so excited to finally be here!

What are your top challenges in growing Cryobar?

Educating people on what cryotherapy is and how amazing the benefits are for so many people, not just athletes. It is all about reducing inflammation and pain, not just sore muscles. Think auto-immune disorders like arthritis and Lupus, fibromyalgia, psoriasis, eczema, recovery from surgery, anxiety and depression, and the list goes on.

Why did you join the West Central? 

We joined the West Central Association because we want to be an active participant in the community, not just a storefront.  

What makes Cryobar unique?

The CryoBar is family-owned and operated. We take pride in getting to know each and every client that walks in the door. Our clients are an extension of our family and helping them feel better is our number one goal!

What gets you up in the morning?

 My kids! I have three boys that keep me busy and I always joke that our CryoBar locations are kids 4, 5 and 6!

What’s your favorite part of the West Loop?

 We have loved getting to know the West Loop community over the past month, and of course all the amazing restaurants!

What does Cryobar's future look like?

 We look forward to continuing to bring cryotherapy to more and more people!
