Who are you? 

My name is Nancy Lema, and I’m the branch manager of our Byline Bank West Town location. I’ve been with Byline for almost 15 years.

 

How long have you been in the neighborhood? 

Our branch has been here for 15 years.

Why the West Loop? 

The West Loop is an ever growing community of small businesses run by individuals.

What are your top challenges in growing your business? 

One of our top challenges is meeting our consumer goals. We’re one of the few banks that offer free checking with no requirements, but it’s hard to achieve our goals due to competition in our market.

Why did you join the West Central? 

To support and establish relationships with our community.

As a community bank in Chicago, we value our customer relationships and focus on exceptional customer service. We offer the personal service of a community bank, but [we also offer the] solutions of a larger bank like mobile and online banking.
