We had an incredible time at the recent West Central Association (WCA) Networking Event held at Convene. Little Italy Clean and Green—SATURDAY, MAY 1, 2021

Thank you to the 50—plus volunteers who helped cleaned Taylor Street from Ashland Street to Morgan Street, and spread out 65 bags of mulch around tree pits. The volunteers also helped weed a number of problem areas and cleaned up the Bocce ball court.

WCA hosted our annual meeting & luncheon at Carnivale located at 702 W. Fulton St. on Thursday, February 21. We were fortunate enough to take up an entire Carnivale event space—all the beautiful decor and colorful personality included. We would also like to personally thank Norman Carlson, Metra Board of Directors chairman, for being our keynote speaker. I am grateful to Norman and the Metra team for taking the time to speak with our members, and providing an informative and fascinating presentation.

We were also fortunate to welcome 4 new directors and renew 16 directors to the West Central Association on Thursday. I would like to congratulate all of our returning directors, as well as our newest directors. I look forward to working with our board of directors.
