Michele Murphy, construction operations professional with more than 30 years of experience. As director of Shawmut’s Chicago office, my focus is on developing our team, and growing our portfolio and partner relationships throughout the region.

What gets you up in the morning?
Solving challenging construction problems. I’ve worked on an array of projects—ranging from renovating buildings from the 1700’s to ground-up construction—most with logistical complexities and challenges.
What’s your favorite part of the West Loop?
Bonci Pizza—it reminds me of visiting their location in Rome.
